Noradrenaline: fate and control of its biosynthesis.Le Prix Nobel en 1970, 189-208., 1970.Axelrod shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Bernard Katz and Ulf von Euler in 1970 for his work on the release and reuptake of catecholamine neurotransmitters, a class of chemicals in the brain that include epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
