Soc., 80, 6212-22, 1958.Khorana shared the Nobel Prize (Physiology) with R. W. Holley and M. W. Nirenberg in 1968 for the techniques he established for the synthesis of polynucleotides. H. G. Khorana, T. M. Jacob, and S. Nishimura were principally responsible for producing evidence confirming the genetic code.
